I really enjoy this grocery store. It has all the items you may need. Easy to find. The service is good. The produce & the meat are always fresh. The baked goods are always really good also. We usually choose safeway for our baked items or deserts specifically. The location is excellent.My only request would be their safeway app alert you on sales or what items are on sale. As Costco & superstore app does. Also I wish their sale day they have on the first Tuesday of the month was for two days rather then just one day. Other then that, this is a excellent grocery store to shop at.
You need to have another express till open or have customer service open for quick single item purchases. Today the customer service lady was busy bagging groceries for a massive family (restaurant?)-sized purchase. She saw us and said she'd be right with us, but continued, bag after bag after bag, for the family order. Honey, the cashier can handle the bagging, we just want to buy one little box of benadryl because my neice was having an allergic reaction ...please staff the service counter for these quick purchases. We waited a few minutes but she just kept bagging so we left to the nearby drugstore where we were able to easily purchase the medication and my neice is now feeling better.
Awesome deli and lunch options available. Great bakery and produce department. I also love that there is a Starbucks in the store. Makes for a fun grocery shopping experience.
The produce is hit or miss. They do have some good sales, especially dollar days, 15% off Tuesday, and sometimes 10 dollar gift card with a 100 dollar purchase. The staff are better than average. Polite and helpful. The bakery is good. Store is quite clean and organized. I go at least twice a month.
FLORAL DEPT REVIEW: We recently ordered 1 bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, & 4 boutineres for our wedding from Safeway and they turned out absolutely beautiful! The ladies there were great to work with and ensured that they were created exactly how we wanted them. They are only available with roses but the price is well worth it compared to any other flower shop! We were so pleased how they turned out and would definitely order more bouquets from them in the future.
