I usually don't have an issue with this clinic. The doctors are great and the staff are usually fine, but today I ended up wasting nearly two hours waiting to be seen only to learn that my name was never actually put on the list to see a doctor. Instead of rectifying this by bumping me up the line, I was told that I could wait approximately another hour. I've worked customer service and front desk for years, and that is NOT the way to deal with this situation. I now won't be able to return to the clinic until late next week to have my health issue seen to. So thanks, I guess, for nothing.
I agree with person below me. Dr. Emily Devereaux is really good.This policy should be changed so that you can tell the person name of the doctor that is when you call, instead of driving over every time and asking in person. To see a specific doctor - its possible only if he is your family doctor, to have any doctor as your family doctor is not possible since no doctors are taking new patients.I am giving 5 stars to Emily and 1 star for policy.
We have been patients of Dr. Ellis for a number of years now and still feel we could not be in better hands.He is always professional, competent and thorough and takes time to listen to our concerns without ever making us feel time is up.His wife Shelley and a professional in her own right has the same integrity and goes above and beyond for her patients too.The atmosphere is welcoming and the receptionists are always very friendly.We've always had positive experiences here and can only recommend the Horizon Clinic.Liz & Bob BloosRed Deer.
I've never had a problem with the girls at the desk. They've always been helpful and polite to me. The doctors at that clinic all seem very capable. All the doctors there have taken time to actually try and help, rather than just rotate you out the door. I've always had some difficult reactions to a lot of medications. They've always been patient and helped find alternatives that helped instead of making me feel worse. Always a good experience for me.
Have always encountered friendly and knowledgeable staff and doctors at Horizon. Great location with it being in Superstore because if you're waiting for the Walk-In Clinic you can browse the store and the Pharmacy is only a few steps away for filling prescriptions after you see the doctor.
