I have been going here for years and I can say that there is so much to choose from its wonderful. I havent had any bad experiences with the staff. In fact I want to call one of them out, his name is himmat. He is very welcoming and will help out as much as possible. I notice most of the staff are from other countries but I appreciate the effort they put in. -John Adams
SURE THE PRICES ARE OK ON BOTTOM SHELF PRODUCT HOWEVER THE STAFF LOOK LIKE THEY HATE BEING THERE. I MADE THE MISTAKE AND ASKED SOME PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE QUESTIONS DON'T BOTHER JUST GOOGLE YOUR QUESTIONS . UNFORTUNATELY CANT RECOMMEND.
I was in the store and they sold liquor to some minors(who barely looked 14) no questions asked.The Alberta gaming and liquor commission would be wise to investigate this establishment. It's pretty pathetic they need to sell liquor to minors to keep the lights on, judging by other reviews, this hardly seems surprising. I know Solo Liquor is a franchise, they would be wise to pull this owners agreement.
Local liquor establishment was very unprofessional. The counter attendant's body odour was overwhelming. I asked a couple questions about different brands of wine and he just stared at me like i was speaking a different language... Also when i walked out i could feel my feet sticking to the ground. Thanks but never again!
Warm beer in the "cooler", unpleasant staff, people just hanging around inside the store loitering. I thought i was going to get mugged. There was a bunch of people around not buying anything like it was a local hangout shack for unruly characters. Not sure what was going on there, it felt illicit.
