BBQ lovers read this ***Went here on a Wednesday night, not overly crowded with ample seating. They had a cool dark western vibe with some industrial aspects. Food was great and best bbq Ive had in Canada so far, not the best Ive had ever though. I had the pulled pork which was tender but lacking the punchy flavour I expected And my partner had the beef brisket and she said the flavour was incredible but was a bit dry. The onion rings, vegetables and tater tots were all fantastic. Service was great, cant fault it, food came out in a matter of minutes which I was pleased by, would be interesting to see it pumping. This is a must if youre into BBQ and around the red deer area, large parking lot, easy off street access.
The bacon wrapped meatloaf was great! The ribs were great! Service was pretty good as well. They did not have a green crayon to colour the frogs on the kids menu. If not for "purse crayons" things could have gotten unruley.
Nice place...friendly and great service...5 stars for that...the food on the other hand was not close to par....the nachos platter for $20 (plus $5 to have beef on it) had all the olives and peppers at the bottom and the cheese at the top. The hamburger looked like they just used a spoon and dumped it on top instead of layering everything and making it look presentable.
Just came from Mohave tonight and had the worst customer service. Awful waitress serving table #2. Served by the waitress named Sarah. She asked us if we are getting wings and told us that we are required to purchase "pop". She did not even clarified if we are getting something else. We felt discriminated as if we can't afford to buy food. She is racist, so i asked if we can take the wings for to go since my baby was cranky and didn't feel to eat in the restaurant. She told us that it was too many and its not allowed for take out. The only time she started to have a conversation is when its time to pay. It was pretty obvious that she wanted a "tip" but right after she saw that I did put any tip. She just said bye and left quickly, comparing yo the rest of the people or other table in the restaurant,where she put a smile and said have a goodnight!.
Great Food from the wings to the steaks at reasonable prices. Friendly courteous waitresses. Great Service. Super nice atmosphere with the recycled wood from a variety of barns etc. Love this place.
