A very nice place for a date or just casual lunch. Fast service food and attentive staff. I left my phone and they put it in a safe place. When I returned they were all aware of it and made the return a simple stop. Second stop. Lol. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place that raises the bar!
It's the keg! Great steaks, you can still get the dualing lobster tail dinner which used to be a menu item, but is no longer shown. Price is excessive but it's what you pay for the upper scale dining experience in red deer.
Dated and worn decor to say the least. Appies and drinks were a fair price and delicious as well! I enjoyed the main course but overall I wouldn't go back for a meal as to me the price isn't justified.
My wife and I were there for supper to celebrate her birthday. I had stopped by the previous day to make the reservation and leave some flowers for the table. When we arrived for supper, the table was ready and beautifully decorated for us. All the staff made a point to stop by the table during the evening to wish my wife happy birthday. The service and the food were outstanding.
Went to the Keg last night. Three steak and crab. and a prime rib. My steak was Chicago medium rare. Waiter asked how everything was. I said mine was a little tough for medium rare. I didnt ask to get it replaced but no problem and said will get you a new one. A few minutes later a new steak cooked to my liking and tender. Excellent service and a jocular waiter which I like.
