I bought a used snowboard for my 6 year old son, which was in okay shape, but it needs a few things like bindings for his boot size, and the bottom side is scratched up pretty bad. I only bought it as my son will be just starting out and theres no sense spending $500 total to get him into the sport to start off with. I talked to one of the sales guys about making a list of what I needed to make this work for him, and he was great to show me what I needed and what to look out for. I then went to the service shop, and talked to the young guys at the counter, who were totally understanding about the situation and were super cool about offering to run the board through their sanding machine, clean up the edges on the board, and basically tune it up for him and get it back to usable shape. Many companies I know would basically tell me theres no sense messing around with an old board, and just try to up sell me on a new one. These guys were totally willing to help me out even though I bought the board used elsewhere. I will be returning.You guys rock!!
What a great selection of products , what a sad and useless group of floor staff . The cashiers are always competent and helpful , but the kids on the floor are exactly that.. just kids, standing around talking , just ignoring the fact they are supposed to be working . Its like the hallways in a high school at recess. Someone need to supervise this day care !
A nice well laid out store with an excellent selection given the size of Red Deer. The young lady at the tech shop was service oriented and friendly. I waited a long time in line to make my purchase, there was only one person at the front to process purchases. When they added additional staff there, they appeared frustrated, stressed out and kept asking each other questions on how to do things!
Had a very nice young lady give me help with shoes. Was a pleasure.
