I have been informed that I am not allowed to clean my trailer, even after contacting the city of Red Deer and finding out the rules governing washing and cleaning. I have stayed here for 2 months and have tree leaves and sap all over my awning and slides, and when i inquired as to what i should do i was told to rig out my trailer and take it to a car wash where i can not clean the slides or my awning. I am not asking to clean my trailer every week, but i do think after 2 months i should be allowed some extra leeway. As well i have had to put up with people drinking and parting until late hours when i have been a model renter by being quiet and trying to keep my stuff clean. It is privately owned, and they do have the right to set the rules but being so ridged is going to lose them this costumer.

The managers are super nice. Gave it a 4 because I wish they were open longer in the evening and I also wish they didn't have streetlights on the little roads. Road noise is also a big problem. Very clean place.

The staff there every kind and friendly a long with helpful I spent just about year with no problems

We really enjoy coming to the westerner to camp and have always found it to be peaceful and friendly. This was the first time that we had trouble with our neighbors. They were loud well after quiet time, they let their dog run around and poop all over our site, they were rude, they parked their vehicle in front of our RV so there was no chance of getting out if there was an emergency and they just didn't seem to care when they went off for the day and left their dog inside their trailer, on a hot day, that it cried and howled the entire time they were gone. They had no reguard for anyone one else in the park. I went into the office after the first night and Gary and his wife kept an eye on them after that. We had no trouble with them after that. Things were taken care of quickly and quietly so our last nights were much more peaceful. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. This is a great spot for a quick stay or an extended stay! Gary and his crew keep it clean and just a great place to stay.

Hot showers, nice couple who run the place, and easy to find. Even though it is in the city, once you are in the campground, all the city noise seems to disappear
