First visit. Had a great time. Definitely would like to visit again and check out the paddle boats
Great place year round for the whole family. Well maintained and lit. Come for a picnic, or a stroll, maybe catch some fish or play board games (ask at the skate shack). Also a PokeMon hub if you're into that. Don't forget your bug spray and sunscreen in the summer.
An amazing place to take your family. So much to do. Paddle boats, canoes, friendly geese, beautiful walking trails and fabulous play parks for the kids. Will definitely be back when we're in Red Deer.
A very pretty park in the centre of Red Deer. There is walk all around the pond, with several little interesting gardens along the path. A children's playground is well equipped. You can rent a paddle boat to explore the pond. There is a stage that is used for outdoor performances from time to time: most recently performances of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and Henry V. There is also a snack bar and washrooms available.
Love this place. Great to take the dogs for a walk or enjoy the scenery. Plenty of trails for bike riding/longboarding, and the shop has some pretty good ice cream.
