Excellent, thorough and well done work. They came over immediately. Fixed the issue as well as checked around for others. Friendly, helpful, professional service. Definitely would recommend.
Would never use them again. Was told I needed a new motor and basically was only interested in selling me a very expensive tank that I had no money for.Got the run around about getting a new motor so I cancelled everything and phoned the local guy and nothing wrong with the motor , it was the gas valve and he had my hot water running within an hour and the dude from gentleman plumbers did not know what he was doing as he was trying to sell me a part that was not causing the problem at all.
I dont know who is being scammed into using this company. They quoted $2800 to have a garage heater installed (we supplied the heater). Another company in Red Deer did it for $500. They also charge you $75 for an estimate which no one else in town does. Disgusting practice, Im sad for all the people who dont even know and get so terribly ripped off. Unbelievable. Do your homework, shop elsewhere.UPDATE: in response to the owners comment. We had a permit pulled with the city, we spoke to our city inspector who highly recommended the company we chose upon his inspection. There was no cutting corners or using randoms to do unpermitted work. They also stood behind their work and have since done a ton of work for us personally and professionally. Dont pretend that $2800 is reasonable for the same work because you pull a permit and check up. We called in to the Gentleman Plumbers office, as the man who did our quote told us we we were recorded agreeing to the $70 dispatch fee. No one there was able to give us proof as we no we did not, a lady told us she could let us talk to a manager about hearing our recording. Of course that never happened, no messages returned whatsoever.
These guys charge WAY too much, fear monger, talk in circles and quote ridiculous amounts. I was charged their dispatch fee (ridiculous), in which they charge each time they are scheduled to come to your house. I was then quoted a minimum of $6000; my concern was hot water pressure. I felt a little bit of push and... again fear mongering with the plumber; however I must say he was nice and polite (gentlemanly), but at the end of the day Im sure he has been indoctrinated into their business model of Nickel and Dime the customer. I declined to have it done the day of the quote because I wanted a second quote.I called Express Plumbing the next day, they came and fixed everything for $120.75 total, no "dispatch fee."These guys are no longer on my radar for any plumbing related business. This is criminal. And please dont bother TGPs to put some ridiculous comment after this to negate your actions.
