Didn't do what they promised. .. said mechanical was done. Paid n never retest drove it before purchasing. .. was 2500 dollar fix. Had to fix air leak in engine they ....top auto.... said it was just setting timing! I bought n sold cars for years n knew better then to trust a sales pitch
good prices bought a set of rims and tires for $600, but the guy who installed my tires on the rims was careless and he scratched the rims all up, big gashes in them if you buy tires from this place take them to Don's tire or somewhere else to have them installed... A little disappointed that I spent 600 dollars and the rims were in great shape, not a single mark on them, until he was done installing the tires on the rims.
I do not recommend buying here. Sold me a truck that still needed $2000 worth of work. Told me their mechanic had done the inspection and nothing was wrong when actually there was a lot wrong. Cant trust them at all. After contacting advice about them was told that you dont have to have a pass/fail inspection. Upon telling them the other issues they said we can fix it for a price. Was not a great experience at all. Buyer beware.
Said 2005 was fixed. .. promised husband ready to go. I showed up payed for it. Supposedly passed an inspection. One tire wrong size only front 2 matched... framed headlight out. Still had a stutter idling problem not getting enough air. We still have it in the shop. Said whatever we wanted to hear n signed off. Make sure in writing n triple check vehicle before u drive away
UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM. First sign it is a bad business is when one of the owners reviews his own business (Cory Schmucker) to pad his rating. Do a search of the reviewer names on Facebook, the high ratings are from friends and family Sold my husband a truck that needed $5000 worth of repair ( so far), kept th vehicle for 3.5 weeks saying he would repair it, but didnt. Which then did not allow us to return it within the 30 days as per the contract with the financing company. Financing company then discovered discrepancies in the paperwork, no down payment was given or stated on our paperwork, the financing companys paperwork listed over $3000 as a down payment was given. This business had several Better Business Bureau settlements. The main salesmans Amvic liscence is expired, has no other sales people listed as liscenced, though the business Amvic liscence is valid the salesmans is not liscenced himself at the moment. As of the last search last week, it had expired in June 2017. The main salesman/owner deflects problems and ignores being served Legal documents at their corporate address. Says he has investors, Alberta registry only lists him and his brother as the owners of the corporation that owns Top Auto, corporation name is C&C Recreational Inc. Corporation address is a private residence. This tactic of hiding behind a corporation is a smoke screen, allows shady businesses to deflect problems to the corporation and the special laws governing a corporation without affecting their own finances as the corporation takes the hit. DO NOT buy a vehicle there. Should you buy one there have a third party mechanic look at it before signing any papers.***Update***Not only did he refuse to accept the summons to court. He never showed up, never sent a statement and made it fast and easy to get a judgement in our favour for more than what he would have paid if he had reimbursed us for the major repairs as agreed upon at first when initially sold. Now even if he decides to ignore the judgement we have legal grounds to put a lean on his business and offices making it impossible to renew a business liscense if he does not pay what has been ordered by the courts (which now includes travel expenses since he ignored it all and the judge was feeling he needed to be taught that he cant avoid consequences for being shady). The reason henwanted to settle out of court is because that there is no way he could have afforded legal representation, and no lawyer could manage to win a case where the proof was so insurmountable that It took less han 10 to look over and deliver a judgement. Caviat Emptor = Buyer Beware
