Couldnt have asked for better care and compassion for all the animals i have taken there. Today was special as going in i had a 50/50 chance my little dog wasnt coming home. Best ever shes home, thank you so much. This clinic is in it for the animal.
Called for a quote to remove quills from my beagle. The quote went from 150 maybe $200 to almost 360 because they had to have him on the table for another 10 minutes. Not only that only the next day I found more quills on the inside of his leg that they had missed. I called with my concerns that night as I have to work the day shift. The vet called me back in the morning telling me to bring him in but not disclosing that they would be further charging me for the appointment. You would think that with less than 24 hours of him being out of the vet that they would show some sort of guarantee to their work, since that is what you pay for. I do believe that someone should have disclosed to me over the phone that they would be charging me further amounts to remove these quills otherwise I would have just done it myself. My beagle was in serious pain and the vet told me that I should have checked my beagle after I had picked him up. Unfortunately I do not agree and feel that he should have done a better job. The remaining quills that were found were sticking out of the skin and we're obviously there while he was there the first time. Although the staff were courteous enough as a family on a budget I did not appreciate the ridiculous pricing gouging because I love my animal. Then charging me again another $50 not disclosing to me before I dropped him off when I thought I made it very clear that I was unhappy with how much my vet bill had jumped up from the quote over the phone to what I had to pay at the first time. I would not recommend this place or it's money-hungry ridiculously unprofessional and obviously losing his touch if he had any in the first place vet. I can't wait for the day when they regulate the veterinarian industry and animal lovers like me can afford to have our animals taken care of properly.
